Languages Degreeseuropean flags

If you are registered for one of the degrees with a language, you will take 100 credits in life sciences and 20 credits in your chosen language, excluding cultural units.. The life science component consists of 40 credits life science lecture/practical units, 10 credits literature review, 30 credits research project, 20 credits programme specific essay and problem papers. Details of the language units can be found on the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures website and you should discuss your choice of units with the relevant Language School. Timetabling may be challenging so you must check carefully that all compulsory units do not clash (tell the staff in the Student Support Office immediately if they do). You may only choose optional units that do not clash with other units.

Please note that language units are non-compensatable for “with Modern Language” degree programmes.
