Overview of the programmes
The programmes are built on a unit (modular) structure. Most students will take:
- 6 Lecture-based units over the year (each worth 10 credits)
- A research project (10 credit literature review and 30 credit project)
- A tutorial unit over the year (assessed through the special programme problem/essay papers each worth 10 credits)
Note:
- Master of Neuroscience students will replace the research project during their third year with BIOL30822 Advanced Neuroscience Research Methods (20 credits), BIOL31661 Pharmacology Practical Unit (10 credits) and BIOL31732 Developmental Neuroscience (10 credits). You will complete a seven month research project in Year 4.
