One-to-One Advisor Meetings
In addition to your regular tutorials you must arrange to “meet” with your Academic Advisor at least twice per semester throughout your programme. At least one meeting should be face to face, but the second can take the form of emails if you and your Advisor agree that a meeting in person is not necessary. There are forms on the intranet that you both fill in as a record of these meetings, which should prove useful to you both when it comes to references for placements/employment, changing programmes, choosing units etc. Please prepare for each meeting by starting to fill in each form with any issues you intend to discuss with your Advisor (you can “save” as often as you like, then your Advisor will submit the final record at the end of the meeting).
